What is PGA Junior League?
At its core, PGA Jr. League is a group of local golf teams who play a series of games against each other, utilizing a nurturing and social scramble format. The program is available to boys and girls of all skill levels. Hermitage Golf Professionals exclusively serve as Captains and are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all that encourages skill and character development. The PGA Junior League at the Hermitage is designed to help the beginning golfer looking to enjoy fun with friends as well as the ability to enjoy the only game able to be played their whole life.
What is the upcoming PGA Junior League schedule?
The 2024 PGA Junior League will have a spring league and a fall league with separate sign-ups for each. Instruction includes biweekly practices as well as team matches. Practices run for a hour and a half and will be on scheduled Wednesday afternoons. These practices are designed to help junior golfers of all skill level gain added confidence and comfort to further their involvement in the game of golf.
Matches will be held on scheduled Wednesdays and will last two hours. The format for matches includes the popular scramble format, to help encourage teamwork as well as problem solving. Its nurturing nature creates a fun environment where the negative impact of performance errors are minimized and enjoyment for the game of golf continues to grow. On the afternoons of matches, players will be fed a meal following play, in celebration of sportsmanship and participation.

Golf Format: Team Scramble with shotgun start beginning at 5:30 PM
Play enjoyed on our General Retreat's golf course with all holes playing as a par 3
Teams consist of 2 - 4 players depending on family size
If more than 4 players please form 2 teams
Movie Format: The Super Mario Bros. movie begins at 7:30 PM
There will be a drive-in movie theater with the golf carts!
Additional snacks and beverages available for purchase at the range

Scheduled to highlight all major aspects including putting, chipping, half shot and full swing. Excited to help players gain added comfort in the needed fundamentals, practice habits and routines as well as more confidence in competitive golf.
