Tennessee’s Premier Golf Destination

Since 1986, Hermitage Golf Course has established itself as the best in Tennessee public golf. With two 18-hole champion-level courses, Hermitage provides luxurious golfing at one of the state’s premier public courses.

Roaming both courses are the renowned Scottish Blackfaced sheep that joined the Hermitage Golf Course in 2012. As a nod to the ancestor of golf, Scotland, more than 40 sheep roam the course year-round and have become the official brand and mascot.

President’s Reserve recognized as one of the top 10 in Tennessee

by Golf Digest Magazine

Playing up to 7200 yards, The President’s Reserve can offer any golfer as much challenge as one might desire, yet be a pleasurable golfing experience for even the occasional golfer. The President’s Reserve, designed by architect Denis Griffiths (designer Atlanta’s Chateau Élan Resort Courses), trails through 300 acres of natural Tennessee wetlands and along the banks of the beautiful Cumberland River.

The best way to experience Hermitage

Designed for memorable stays

There’s something different about waking up at Hermitage. Your coffee comes with course views. Your first tee time is a short walk (or quick ride) away. And after the round, your group can settle in—swap stories in the great room, unwind by the fire pit, or roll a few putts on the private putting green before dinner.

Whether you’re planning a golf trip, a wedding weekend, a corporate retreat, or a special getaway, staying on property keeps the schedule simple and the experience elevated.
