Mr. & Mrs. Chris Felker - August 29, 2009This was an amazing weekend for the Malkiewicz and Felker families.  Two of the nicest people I have ever met were married on Saturday, August 29th here at Hermitage Golf Course.  I had the absolute pleasure of coordinating Chris and Tracie's wedding.  I am not sure who had more fun, me or them!  Their families were amazing and it is so evident how much they love them!  After our rehearsal practice on Friday evening, the groom's mother, Debbie Evetts,  kicked off the weekend with a rehearsal dinner in the Gallery.  She had a very sweet video created of Chris and Tracie's "life to date" that the bridal party and family members enjoyed.  The weather on Saturday could not have been more perfect!  After pre-wedding pictures on The President's Reserve and General's Retreat golf courses, (and well wishes from the many golfers we encountered on our journey) the bridal party headed back to get ready for the wedding.  Tracie is blessed by a wonderful "bonus" Mom, Linda Malkiewicz!  She created all of the floral arrangements, which were beautiful, as well as the arbor she decorated for the couple!  And as if that wasn't enough - she also baked the wedding cake (which I tasted and was delicious!)  The centerpieces were actually "favors" of golf balls and tees with the couple's name and wedding date on them in a sand arrangement - how clever!The wedding was beautiful in the Celebration Garden and the reception followed in the Two Rivers Ford Banquet Room and Tilted Palm Pavilion!    The DJ had things hoppin' in no time!  This fellow was a blast!  "DJ Dude" also known as Mark Rose had everyone dancing!   The photographer, Richard Shipp was a pleasure to work with!  One of his beautiful  photos of the the newlyweds is above!  Where was Bill while I was having all of this fun at the wedding, you might ask?  Don't worry - he was a happy husband... fishing on Old Hickory Lake.  Where I joined him Saturday night after leaving the festivities.  He's always happy to see me come home... another wedding.... a happy ending.... a happy wife!  Congratulations to Chris and Tracie - we wish you all the happiness possible!  Thank you for letting me be a small part of such a special day!-Kara   Vendors at this event:DJ Dude, Mark RoseDJDude@Hughes.net615-347-4724Photography by:Richard Shippwww.richardshipp.com615-337-8452
