Stacy Crawford and Zac White

June 25, 2010
Stacy Crawford and Zac White

The weather was perfect for the last wedding in June at the Hermitage Golf Course!

Stacy chose to get her hair and make up done at the golf course and as I checked on her throughout the day, she and her bridesmaids were having a blast just being girls!

Stacy and Zac decided to do a "first look" with each other before the wedding.  Stacy's dad accompanied his daughter to her soon-to-be-husband.  It was a very sweet moment as they saw each other for the first time in their wedding attire!  As soon as photos were finished, Stacy and Zac visited special sites on The President's Reserve Golf Course for more photos.

The ceremony began in the Celebration Garden at 6:30.  The garden was beautiful with the rows being decorated with sunny sunflowers!  The sun had begun to set and the setting was perfect!  Stacy chose that she, her attendants and flower girl be barefoot for the ceremony and it was adorable!  The gentlemen chose to wear vests - no jackets - which was perfect for a warm evening.  And what a great idea - no jackets to keep track of later!

Guests were invited to the Tilted Palm Pavilion for a dinner buffet!  The tables were decorated with cylindars of sunfowers and floating candles and sprinkled with daisies.  SO SWEET!  And with the Tilted Palm Pavilion lite up with Christmas lights, the room was breathtaking!

The wedding party was introduced from the Two Rivers Ford Banquet room and had a blast with their entrances!

The toasts were made, the yummy cake from Hermitage Bakery was cut and it was night filled with fun and dancing!  As the evening came to a close, a beautiful Rolls Royce showed up to whisk Stacy and Zac away!  It was a dreamy night with a perfect ending!

This family was so much fun!  I had a blast with Josh and Amber as we spent the day together driving around the golf course finding the perfect spot for pictures.

I was a little sad as I drove home.  Bill was in Canada fishing, so I was coming home to a quiet house.  Our 4 legged kids greeted me at the door!  I tried to talk to Jodi and Lizzie about the wedding, but it wasn't the same.  No worries.... he will hear all about it when he gets home!

Stacy and Zac - you are such a wonderful couple with an amazing future before you!  I wish you more happiness, love and success that you could ever imagine!  You have both been blessed by amazing family and friends who love you both very much!

-Kara

Mallory Hinkle and Jack Thomas

Mallory Hinkle and Jack Thomas were married June 19th, 2010!

A June Bride (sigh)  ... which is what Mallory Hinkle was on June 19th, 2010.  As I think about this day, the word JOY keeps coming to my mind.  All of the weddings I blog about are weddings I coordinate.  It isn't unusual that I have a special connection to the bride or even the bride and her mother.  But this wedding was special.  I was blessed to meet, and get to know, so many people who love this couple and feel like I have a new family!

To the wedding....  Smile

The Celebration Garden was decorated with Sheppard hooks at each row with a sweet vase hanging with beautiful flowers.  Mallory entered the Celebration Garden to the traditional Wedding March.  Half way down the isle the music changed to James Taylor's "How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You" and Jack approached her and they walked together to the minister, Steve Conazman, who stood under a beautiful arch decorated with wisteria and tulle.

When the ceremony ended, Mallory and Jack grabbed a quick bite in private.  Their guest enjoyed a yummy cocktail hour while we jumped on golf carts to head to The President's Reserve and the General's Retreat golf courses with photographer Rick Staines.  We followed up with family pictures across from the clubhouse and it was time for Mallory and Jack to join their guests.

The Tilted Palm Pavilion was draped with beautiful white fabric, teal up-lights and Christmas lights which transformed the room into a club atmosphere!  After the traditional dances, DJ Tom Underwood, turned up the music and the dancing began!

Later in the evening, guests were surprised with chocolate and vanilla milkshake shots with whipped cream and cookies!  What a hit! Friends and family slowly left, not ready to leave this wonderful couple.  Everyone had so much fun!

I want to send a special thank you to Mallory's mom Traci, her friend Dana and Jack's mom, Jodie.  You ladies made this such a fun wedding!  I have loved laughing and giggling with you ladies!  I only hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!

To Jack and Mallory - I admire your love for life and each other.  You are both blessed by such wonderful people in your lives.  Congratulations, love and happiness always!

What a great night!  And when I sat down at the table with Bill he didn't ask "how did it go?"  He asked, "So, was Traci happy with everything?"  I tilted my head to the side and asked him "how did you know her name?"  He said, "Traci is the mom, right?"  I have to admit, I broke into a giggle and started to apologize that I had gotten so involved with this wedding that Bill knew the mother of the bride's name.  He immediately held his had up and said with a big grin, "Stop.  You have had so much fun with this wedding and I have enjoyed you sharing it with me!"  What a guy.  Am I a lucky girl or what????

Allison Phleger and Kenny Edmonds

Allison Phleger and Kenny Edmonds marry on May 30, 2010!

On a beautiful May afternoon, Allison Phleger became Mrs. Kenny Edmonds.

Kenny and Allison chose to marry under a beautiful arbor in front of the rose bushes in the Celebration Garden.   Following their ceremony, the Bride and Groom visited The President's Reserve and The General's Retreat golf courses for photos!  While Allison and Kenny finished up family photos, guests enjoyed a spread of fun food stations!

Mr. and Mrs. Edmonds were introduced into the Tilted Palm Pavilion where they enjoyed their first dance!  Allison and her father were next, followed by Kenny and his mother.  They cut the cake and the dancing began!

The evening went as planned and guests had a blast!  Kenny and Allison, I wish you all the happiness possible!

Bill pooped out on me and was asleep when I got home.  I filled him in the next morning over coffee.  He said he still finds it amazing that I love what I do so much - and I do!

Ashley Davy and Jeffery Hagewood

May 15, 2010

Ashley Davy and Jeffery Hagewood

On May 15, 2010, Ashley Davy and Jeffery Hagewood were married in the Celebration Garden!

The wedding began traditionally with the father of the bride giving her away.  Ashley and Jeffery chose to do a bible ceremony, which was wonderful!  Parents of the bride and groom stood around Ashley and Jeffery as the minister performed the ceremony.  The parents signed Ashley and Jeffery's bible as a symbol of their blessing upon this couple.  It was a touching ceremony that I will never forget!

Following the ceremony, Ashley and Jeffery jumped in a golf cart to take their first photos as husband and wife!

When it was time to introduce the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Hagewood were welcomed by their guest into a sea of bubbles!  It was breathtaking!

Guests enjoyed a wonderful appetizer reception and dancing as DJ Dan got the party started!  Guests had a blast and throughout the evening EVERYONE commented on how beautiful the bride looked (and the groom was pretty handsome too!)

I had so much fun with this entire family!  It was a wonderful celebration for this amazing couple!  I had more tears in my eyes at this wedding that most.  With the bride having a private meeting with her father, to the bible ceremony and then the groom's father's toast.  It was a day I won't forget!

Bill could tell when I walked in the door that it was an emotional, but happy evening!  "Well, how did it go?" he asked.  "Wonderful", I said.  "It just amazes me that I get to share in one of the happiest days of peoples lives almost every weekend.  I am so blessed,  And then I get to come home to a wonderful husband like you!"  I got a really big hug!

Ashley and Jeffery, I wish you happiness and blessings on your new life together with your families!  Congratulations to you all!
